Use your Arkansas Education Freedom Account for Chalky
Chalky is an approved vendor on ClassWallet, where Education Freedom Account funds are spent. Arkansas families can pay for the whole Chalky curriculum with their EFA.
What is the Arkansas Education Freedom Account?
Education Freedom Accounts were created by the LEARNS Act and are run by the Arkansas Department of Education. Since the 2025-26 school year the program is open to every Arkansas K-12 student, and curriculum and supplemental materials are approved expenses.
The award was $6,864 per student for the 2025-26 school year, calculated as 90% of the state's per-pupil foundation funding. Funds are spent through ClassWallet. Details and applications live on the Arkansas DESE Education Freedom Accounts page.
How to use your EFA funds on Chalky
- Register. Create a parent account and add your child.
- Request an invoice. The Billing tab generates an invoice or quote to submit through ClassWallet.
- Pay through ClassWallet. Log on to your ClassWallet account, choose the Pay Vendor option, search for 'Chalky AI' and follow the instructions to upload the invoice from each student's spending account.
- Start reading. We unlock access within 24 business hours. The plan is ready the same day.
