Use your Alabama CHOOSE Act funds for Chalky
Chalky is an approved vendor on ClassWallet, the platform that manages CHOOSE Act education savings accounts. Alabama families in a home education program can pay for the whole Chalky curriculum with their CHOOSE Act funds.
What is the Alabama CHOOSE Act?
The CHOOSE Act is Alabama's education savings account program, run by the Alabama Department of Revenue. It gives families public funds to spend on approved education expenses, including curriculum, textbooks and tutoring.
Students in a home education program receive up to $2,000 per year, with a cap of $4,000 per family. Funds are managed through ClassWallet, and applications open each year in the winter. The details live on the Alabama Department of Revenue's CHOOSE Act page.
